Hi All,

I was just wondering, I am off to see Maiden at the Air Canada Center in Toronto and my prospective father in law wants to come. He was 78 in June. I guess there must be older people who have seen Maiden, but to make the trip across the Atlantic has got to give the old guy some standing......

Neil.

I have seen a few old maiden fans around at concerts but not that many. it all depends what you class as old really

Anything above 25. :P

It's simply a matter of life expectancy. When listening to rock bands like Maiden you're getting older faster than when listening to true music. As a consequence, your life expectancy is shortening and you die earlier than average pop band/rap fans. Since deads don't attend live gigs, only young pricks can be seen at the shows ergo the discrepancies in age classes.

Quod erat demonstrandum.  -_-

I'm available for subsequent brilliant scientific demonstrations. Yours.
Doc Jacko.

I forget how old I am nowadays. One year just blends into another and all of a sudden I've passed another birthday - and I stopped counting years ago. Oh how I yearn for the days when a year was a year, not just another blur while I walk wearily on the path to my grave. :(

Blimey! My thoughts exactly!

Only old-timers like us can feel like this (and express it with such poetry).

Stop whining you two, will ya! ::) None of us is getting younger, and some are not getting smarter either.
