I wouldn't say that. The b'Sides have never been played live. (except a few from the early days) and never will be. The 90's songs, on the other hand, have been played live so it is more likely to have a tour promoting those songs.
The next history tour could cover "The First Ten Years" relying on the singles that were released during that project, (plus Fear of the Dark ). As those songs are much shorter we could get a set of nearly all 20 singles (plus the requsite Iron Maiden and Hallowed Be Thy Name).
The 20* singles were:
1. Running Free*; 2. Sanctuary; 3. Women in Uniform (replaced by Wrathchild) 4. Twilight Zone; 5. Purgatory; 6. Maiden Japan (represented by Killers); 7. Run to the Hills*; 8. NotB; 9. Flight of Icarus; 10. The Trooper; 11. 23:58; 12. Aces High; 13. Wasted Years; 14. Stranger in a Strange Land; 15. Can I Play With Madness; 16. The Evil That Men Do; 17. The Clairvoyant; 18. Infinite Dreams
* Live version of Running Free and Run to the Hills were released
This list meets a lot of demands: 1) tons of classics, 2) dusts of songs not played in a while like Stranger, Icarus, Purgatory, Killers and 3) includes 4 songs from 7th son. It's just so crazy that it might work. Of course if Iron Maiden were really creative, they could pull any song from the first 10 years and work in some great songs like Phantom, Murders in the Rue Morgue or That Girl. Now I'm talking crazy!
Well SBIT 2 had Children Of The Damned and Phantom of the Opera. ON TOP of Rime. That's epic. But having songs from SIT and SOASS and Fear of The Dark ruined it.
But Moonchild was awesome live.
