The PSV individuals won a lot of duels. They were in control for a longer period than 15-20 minutes. Man U might have had more overall possession and have created more chances (only one or two big ones), but they were really bad I thought. PSV was not that dangerous either, but it all looked better. It gave me confidence for a good result. I hoped for more. ;-)

Real Madrid are currently fielding an ineligible player (Cheryshev should be serving a red card suspension) and may be banned from Copa del Rey. He also scored in this game :D

Yet another own goal, yet another goal off a set piece originating from a stupid foul. Watching Arsenal play is an absolute nightmare.

Klopp clearly isn't the magician the Liverpool fans thought. Today they've been outright poor against Newcastle. Gone are the quick combinations that saw them hurt Man City so badly, gone is the intensity, and they are 1-0 down. They still might get something, of course - Newcastle haven't been great either - but this match shows that Klopp has work to do. As was to be expected, of course.

EDIT: Just as I type, Liverpool are a dubious offside call away from equalizing. Newcastle want to challenge Liverpool in the being rubbish contest.

EDIT2: 2-0 and it's all over now.

Klopp is a manager that's very involved in all matters in the club. It's not a surprise that he hasn't brought a sharp change after being appointed midway through the season. Liverpool are lacking in multiple positions, they need to make moves. If he is to spark a change of fortunes, it'll only start by next year, I think.

Most boring weekend in football ever for me. Both Man Utd and Milan games ended with 0-0. At least Man Utd played a good side that is West Ham, Milan couldn't beat fucking Carpi. What a bunch of bottlers.

Guillermo Varela and Cameron Borthwick Jackson are Man Utd's fullbacks as of now. Both in their 2nd game ever for the team. Atm, Man Utd won't pass the group.

For the first time since 2006: a Dutch club to the knock-out stage in the Champions League!
