Odds this is the last Maiden tour?

I heard it's a 15 years plan with mostly japanese loan/money sharks (don't know if it's the fitting term) putting their money in it.

What's your sauce... I mean source on this?

Logic? Maiden simply would not go out with an 11-date European festival tour.  It would be more likely that Dave Mustaine would return to Metallica.  ;)

When Maiden were in Sydney in Feb 08 Bruce told the crowd they'd return in a couple of years. Now Bruce can tell the odd porky but I'm sure they'll be touring the southern hemisphere early next year then flying Ed Force I back north for the Jun-Aug festival season. It will be a full blown Final Frontier Tour consisting of six new songs and the remnants of the setlist from the upcoming tour.
Oh yeah, and in answer to the thread topic...this won't be Maiden's final tour. How do I know...Patricia Arquette told me she dreamt about it.

Sure, but I just wondered if there were any hard facts around. I know Bruce promised a return in many concerts (the one I attended included).

Just... don't worry.  They'll tour.  Once they're quitting for ever, they'll let us know.  Probably in the way of a massive world tour or two. :)

Iron Maiden wouldn't go out with some piddly little tour like this, this is just preparing us for the awesomeness of The Final Frontier album and the massive world tour that is to come.
