Also, interesting to hear some veteran hard rock/nu-metal guys clearly aiming to get on alternative rock radio:

The wife works at an Alt Rock radio station here in Chicago, and previously worked in Active Rock format (heavier, hard rock, some classic rock/metal). That latter format is dying in many major US markets, however, and it's pretty easy to see these guys trying to aim for a newer market to stay relevant. Also, Godsmack and Sevendust have sounded exactly the same their entire careers, so who cares about a little change?
