I knew someone would say something. Its all metal night for me here in China. Most people here are into K Pop. Sometimes my students ask me if I like Taylor Swift and what I think of Katy Perry and I just don't have an answer for them because they're teenagers. I played Flight of Icarus, Flash Gordon, and a number of other songs on the school radio and I reminded my students that since I live here, they have to expect that they will hear my music too since I'm the only foreign teacher in the school. I still can't believe I'm in my fourth year of teaching here, time flies quickly. They're into the many of the same movies that I'm into but we definitely don't share the same music tastes but if it makes them happy then I'm happy
