I know that people say so (and it might even be true), but I only really have a problem with Painkiller. That one's pretty much unlistenable. The rest is more or less okay to actually good (Sin After Sin) and Prisoner of Your Eyes is a beautiful ballad.

I know that people say so (and it might even be true), but I only really have a problem with Painkiller. That one's pretty much unlistenable. The rest is more or less okay to actually good (Sin After Sin) and Prisoner of Your Eyes is a beautiful ballad.

They have all received the brick wall treatment. Some sound better (Sin After Sin) than others (Painkiller) but clipping and harsh frequencies in each one of them.

It might be so - I guess I don't have my ears that trained, so I don't notice until it's really over the top (Painkiller, Death Magnetic, most of Nile's discography...)
