Los Suaves - San Francisco Express (1997)

Outstanding concept album about death, with the train used as a metaphor of one’s trip to the cemetery of San Francisco (in Ourense, Spain), which is the final destination. Most of the songs describe different characters and their sad existence.

The band were always influenced by Thin Lizzy and had great poetic lyrics, but this album is heavier. A masterpiece.

Edguy - Vain Glory Opera

A textbook on how to write catchy (power) metal. Stratovarius vibe in the epic-sounding intro, galloping verses, one of the most memorable choir-like choruses, solid riffing, cool solo. Overall a classic song.
