A lot of it just re-recorded from the demos, on which Grohl recorded *everything* by himself. The finished album still has some of that refreshingly amateurish sonic quality to it which is part of the charm.

The sound and feel of it is great. Not too keen on most of his lyrics on the first album but their is a big charm for it
