Great Live Album
I recently started revisiting Firewind. Their newest album is nice. I like: ''Salvation Day'', ''Destiny Is Calling'', ''Come Undone'', ''Chains''. Btw, Gus G would be a great fit for both studio and live with Bruce.
No Limits is so Accept-like album. The whole album is solid, all songs are decent to good, but for me it's not better than his first solo albums. Like the magic isn't quite there. The ballad ''Azrael'' is a classic.
Kiss really achieved what they wanted with the vibe and sound of this album. Only 1 filler imo (''Charisma''). Like with Unmasked. And it's not that far from their classic sound, so you could call it underrated.
absolutely agree. Firewind album is really great and heavy, shredding everywhere and very solid songs. it's going to be on the greatest 2024 bonus albums list I'm doing.I recently started revisiting Firewind. I always love the drumming and Adrian's guitar synth reaching the highest note on his guitar. Awesome! Very heavy and very humble LOLLord Of Light (live).
I want a concert video from the AMOLAD 2006 tour even just for this gem. What a captivating song. They were committed to the performance. Reunion Maiden in full force! Some vocal parts on the album are a challenge for Bruce (this, Legacy, Suns, Day). The 2006 tour was such a perfect gift, hope one day they will release a full show. Love it.
Some Reunion songs are just written to be played live and sound better - this one, El Dorado or Brave New World, to name a few.
