NOW PLAYING

I call for more support for this legendary, influential album, people! Have a look:

Listening to this live footage for a while and the sound of Russell Allen's voice reminds me of Tony Martin!
@Zare I see your point of the guitar hero but I am truly impressed by the rhythm section and vocal melodies (as well). Great band.
I read their first bass player was of a very high level as well, Thomas Miller.

Damn, To Hell and Back has such a cool chorus.

I have problems with this kind of power metal and the drums. It's very annoying and effort to me listening the double bass drums all the time. But I'll try again

Bloodbound - When Fate Is Calling

Pleasantly surprised with this new single from the upcoming album. Great melodic song.

Queensryche - Empire (album)

First: I managed to find a rip of the DCC gold disc, so this album sounds really good.

Second: the band's style has completely changed, and I'm not used to it. I suspect this album will grow on me soon.
Empire is a bit more commercial than O:M and has an incredibly polished sound, which I happen to like. I´m sure the album will grow on you soon.
Best I Can, Jet City Woman and the title track are the highlights for me.

Most people probably haven't heard of Anacrusis before but they should sit well with most Maidenfans. Techincal thrash yet progresssive and melodic. Plenty of creativity and heavyness intertwined.

The vocals ranges from awesome clean delivery to shrieks and aggressive thrash, a few growls here and there. All by the same frontman.

This should be one of the bands we're discussing more on this forum!
