Okay, I think Jim Steinman has officially won the spot of the #1 most immediately recognisable songwriter ever, beating even Bacharach and Porter. I mean - listen to that, really. If there ever was a musical trademark or something for anyone, there it is.

Be careful if you listen to this... or Making Love Out of Nothing At All... or Total Eclipse of the Heart... or Bat Out of Hell (or most of Meatloaf's discography for that matter) - you could get impregnated by the very act of listening, cause these songs carry more of Steinman's DNA than his semen does.
