Coney Hatch - Coney Hatch (1982 album)

Solid, straight-up melodic hard rock with some really tasty playing all-around by this largely forgotten Canadian band who went on hiatus a couple of years later.

It's a bit of a bizarre album. With an even more commercial sound than Dynasty, which was a strange decision considering hard rock and metal were on the rise. I do enjoy it though, it's fun when you're in the mood for it but definitly not something I would recommend people who've never listened to Kiss :)

I think Dynasty is more commercial than Unmasked. Kiss were ''lost'' in this period ('78-'81), but the Unmasked album is in the vein of Rock and Roll Over. But yeah, the albums of Kiss that everyone should start with are the debut, Destroyer and the whole 70's era actually. Though the 80's era has some really amazing gems and albums. :)
