I like to be influenced by a wide range of music. Apart from the music, I am also touched by the lyrics. That's the whole point! To lift your spirits! This is what maidens clearly do! But there are so many artists inspired! Bob marley did not write stories ?! I do not want to put labels on emotion! it really is restrictive! These from me! I am a new member and I love maiden!

Well I think the song is about that change in some way is coming (good or bad) - "can you see the writing on the wall", "can you see the writing of the storm". It is about that a lot is about to change in the world?

The song was recorded in early 2019 though, but a lot has changed in the world since then:
Covid-19 pandemic.
Donald Trump being replaced by Joe Biden.
The U.K leaving the European Union.
U.S troops leaving Afghanistan (after 20 years).

I interpret that is about an uncertain western world, previous songs dealing with this topic are for example "Face in the Sand" (post 9/11, September 11 attacks theme).
