There are a bunch of songs where Blaze sings amazing.

Indeed. Singing is not just the highs and the vibratos.

As for the ability to impersonate someone who feels lost, broken, afraid of Fate and its repercussions, insecure, worn, Blaze does a better job at that than Bruce would have. Bruce is the best at other stuff.

He helps some of the stuff to become really haunting. Emotional. Almost singer-songwritery.

Also, his voice is definitely unique and while it may be an acquired taste, I find it very addictive.

How is it? I have pretty much all the solo Vangelis stuff, but haven’t been as fond of the collaborations.
It's a little bit prog rock, folk touches and some Vangelis solo. It's good!
He also collaborated with Jon Anderson from Yes in a couple of albums.
