Okay, I still favour Messiah. Best voice (sound), best performer. Most power, best range. Lowe had a great voice as well! Top class singers.

A matter of taste, I guess.
For me, Messiah takes third place in Top 3 Annoying Singers In Bands I Otherwise Love, after Blaze and guy on Sabbat's Mourning Has Broken.
 
^That particular Burzum album (soon to appear in the GMAC btw) could actually serve as quite a useful litmus test in fact.
If all you hear is random annoying noise instead of insane ecstatic beauty, Black Metal is just not for you, plain and simple.
