Now Playing (Video Games)

I don't know if I'll do RoE or Lost Mission. I kinda want to get to Doom (2016), Doom Eternal and Doom Dark Ages. I know there's nothing stopping me from doing it now, but I have this fing OCD about finishing something, before moving on to the next. Main reason I'm playing the FF games in order. I wanted to do the same with the Castlevania games, but that hasn't really worked out and I do feel slight anxiety over that lol.

Also, Doom 3 is super old, right? 20 years? It was pre DLC days. Reason I'm wondering is, I'm playing it on Game Pass. Game Pass games are only the vanilla game, they don't include DLCs. But if RoE and Lost Mission are already included as part of the base package then I'll be able to play through them.
Lol, I’m the opposite; I feel like I get to the final area of games and then often move on to something else. It’s madness haha.

I’m not sure about the Game Pass thing, but if you’re playing the BFG Edition both RoE and Lost Mission are included.

I'll check. I'm about to leave Site 3. I activated the freight trolley, but I have to seal the hatch first. I have no clue where LOL. it was midnight so I left it for today.

Finished Doom 3 on Sunday. It was a fun ride. Even though the credits says the BFG Edition is from 2012, it does not seem to be said BFG Edition as when I go back to the main menu, I can only start a new campaign, no RoE or Lost Mission option... oh well.

I tried playing Doom Eternal, but it asked me for my Bethesda account. A LOT of games do this. EA's NHL games ask for EA account, Blizzard games ask for your BattleNet account, even some Ubisoft games ask for your Ubisoft account. BUT, all said games allow me to back out or decline said option and still play single player campaigns. Doom Eternal has no said option... I refuse to create a Bethesda account so I couldn't play it.

I thought I had Doom 2016 on deck, but I didn't, as it dowloaded I started Doom Dark Ages aaaand I LOVE it lol. Granted I only did the first mission, but that was enough for me to be hooked hahahaha.

I put FFV aside, because I found it hard to get into. It feels like I take 5 steps and get interrupted by dialogue (not really cut scenes), between party members, the party and a villian, etc. FF 1-4 only had dialogue when interacting with NPCs or before major confrontations. Didn't really interrupt action or cut immersion. I'll get back to it, but for now it's no longer a priority.
