This was really hard to do, and I could only make my Top 25, since I couldn't decide what songs to include for larger "top's".

#25 - Transylvania
My favorite Maiden instrumental. Though I prefer live versions ('cause they play it faster live), studio version is also awesome. Riffs are awesome throughout the whole song, and I feel that the vocals cound only ruin the song, or take away the attention from the riffs. I really like the chorus melodies and solos. It segues really nice into Strange World at the end. I wish they played this song more often. It could enable Bruce to take a rest during the show and it would be much better than what other bands do so that their singers can rest (Helloween does boring singalongs, drum/guitar/bass solos etc).

#24 - To Tame A Land
Very underrated song. Starts off with an amazing melody (intro could've been shorter though), and then bursts into a fantastic riff-fest. Every single melody and riff in this song is amazing. Lyrics are the weak part of the song - if you never read Dune you won't have a clue what the song is about. Vocal melodies are very good and Bruce belts out some really high notes (...to make it all EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEND). Sadly, I think that it won't be played live again, 'cause it was skipped on both The Early Days and Somewhere Back In Time tours :(

two good choices. i put them both as 8s or 9s (wont give too much away), transylvania is the best instrumental for me filled with brilliant work and captivates constantly. wont be seeing it on my list for a while yet. TTAL also not just yet and no i dont read Dune which will explain alot  ;)

I love Transylvania but have never been particularly enamoured by To Tame A Land, however I haven't listened to Piece of Mind as much as the other albums for some reason so maybe it will grow on me!

Forgot to post yesterday, so 2 songs today:

#23 - Lord Of Light
My second favorite song from AMOL&D (once my favorite, but another song surpassed it recently). Starts out with classic reunion era opening, and I really like Bruce's creepy singing on it and on the other calm parts of the song. Song then bursts into a fantastic riff by H - best one on the album, and one of the best in band's history. Bruce absolutely kills on the verses, and proves that he can still hit high notes like he did 20-25 years ago. Chorus is good, but probably the least good part of the song. Solos are very nice and catchy.

#22 - Wasting Love
With this song, Maiden proved that they can make a fantastic power ballad. This song also features Bruce's best vocal performance on the album. Guitars steal the show with awesome melodies and solos. I especially like the solo that is played on the final chorus of the song. Sadly, this song was never played in the reunion era, which is a shame, 'cause I would really like to hear it with 3 guitars. Overall, it's one of the best songs written by Janick.

Lord of Light, Wasting Love! Interesting choices.

And I feel that I also might give a top 25 spot for Transylvania and/or To Tame a Land. They definitely belong to the best ones of these albums (together with Prowler & The Trooper).

While #25 and #24 were pretty close to where I would have them if I had a list, here that's not the case. Lord of Light would probably be around 50s. I haven't heard Wasting Love in a long time, but probably in the 50s too.

Lord of Light is my favorite song from AMOLAD.

I have no single favourite song standing with head and shoulders above all others on IM, POM and AMOLAD:

I have two favourite songs (which switch position from time to time) on:
Iron Maiden: Prowler & Transylvania
Piece of Mind: To Tame a Land & The Trooper
A Matter of Life and Death: Brighter than a Thousand Suns & Lord of Light

BTATS is excellent. Agreed.
Forostar? Two albums?  :D

For the three albums I mentioned I have two favourite songs, which are of the same level (or very close at least).  :D

And from Iron Maiden and Piece:

Iron Maiden- Too hard to choose, I don't really have a favorite

Piece-Still Life and Where Eagles Dare (Trooper barely loses)
