New live dvd to be recorded next year

We've heard this rumour for quite awhile, on every tour since AMOLAD. Well, it hasn't happened, except for Flight 666.

Eh if it's only next year, don't you all think it's going to be a bit more TFF related? I mean I hope they don't drop AMOLAD from their set, so we can get a DVD of material from that era (How about a new X Factor or Virtual XI song while we're at it?) but we'll see.

Also, Sam Dunn is more of a documentary filmmaker than necessarily a concert guy, though he was quite good at that too. So, I guess what I'm saying is that there will probably be another documentary, but I can't imagine how it's going to differ much from Flight 666 outside of the concert.

I think the main reason why that Download Festival gig isn't going to be released as a DVD is that it already leaked, and there's no point of releasing it again...

Great news for sure! I'm still in amazement and question as to why they didn't follow up the AMOLAD tour with a DVD. Oh well. I'm looking forward to a TFF DVD! :rocker:

This. Would LOVE to have some live AMOLAD action!

It certainly hasn't leaked, the available footage is an low-definition webcast. In essence, it's a pro-shot bootleg.
Just like Rock In Rio was broadcasted on TV. Before the official DVD came out, bootleg of the show started floating around, and that bootleg has two times better quality than Donington 2007.

It all comes down to flooding the market and timing. I believe all these dvds/blu rays will be released but there's no point in releasing them together, I and everyone else here wishes they would but from a business point of view they're doing it right.

Why don't they just release a DVD Box Set "Best of Maiden in Sweden" containing Stockholm 2003, Ullevi 2005 and Globen 18.november 2006.

That would make me a happy man.

Quick- Maiden England and Live at Donington are coming, and with it a respective era documentary.

I love the fact that Rod thinks X Factor is a great album, and underrated.

I think last year, in São Paulo, there were almost 100,000 at Interlagos autodrome. I got the Chile 2009 bootleg and it's really amazing!
