New forum problems

I'm having trouble editing my profile. i.e. Avatar and Signature.

P.S. I like this smilie  :ph34r:
 
OK see if thats better now
Should have fixed the polls issue too.
Also worth checking see if you can edit your profiles properly now too

The other users can express what they think of you by giving you positive points ("praise") or negative ones ("kick"). Your score shows that you're apparently not very popular... and I'm not really surprised!  :rolleyes:
 
Depends how seriously people take the praise system really. Mav for example has a positive rating which suggests he's popular. This obviously proves that the system is flawed :p
 
Maybe I am somehow popular!   :wub:



Oh and I can't see the 'w00t' and 'smell my finger' smileys. Is that normal?

Just thought I'd mention it....You no longer need to enter a password to enter the 'Forum help' Forum, is this intentional

Edit 1-And also...The google links are gone, is that why we have a new Forum althogether?
Edit 2- The recent posts in maidenfans.com is not working anymore
 
I guess this is the place to post this, what happened to the link to a member's topics? There is the one to see your posts but not the topics you've started...

I presume he means the "Ads By Googgle" links that was part of Maidenfans funding.

I have noticed a couple of times that when I reply, I'm thrown back to the Home page rather than the topic I was reading.

Check your personal settings, under Look and Layout Preferences. You should be able to change that.
 
Well, most of the bugs are fixed or in the process, and the new forum's actually looking quite good.
By the way, Conor mentioned a poll bug.  To elaborate, the 'cast vote' button is still there, but all options have disappeared.  I presume this means that the poll system is still working and the choices just have to be edited for the new software.  Either that, or the board has recognised a poll but hasn't brought the choices over, which means they would all have to be re-entered again.  Yet another headache for RW-you deserve a medal once you've finished fixing the forums!  :ph34r:<-I would have chosen the wink smilie, but I detest those small defaults.  For future reference, I will only be using this smilie for the forseeable future, whatever the emotion I wish to indicate is. :p

I'll second that. Good job all round on the migration and ironing out the little bugs. Just a shame about the previous polls.
