myspace & Maiden

So er... what exactly is myspace all about? (genuine question)  :huh:

I've never looked at it but don't feel like there's a huge void in my life. Sounds like it's a good way of getting your own music online (but how the hell do you get people to listen to it?) and a good way for the 'socially challenged' to get to meet other people without actually getting off their arse, having a good time and meeting real people!  :D

What you do is create a profile (as your bands name) upload some of your tunes and set them to be played every time your profile is viewed.

Then you befriend every bugger you see, inundate them with bulletins about your gigs (and any other bit of trivia) and lo and behold you've got your name out there.

As for me, I'm a first son of a first son of a first son of a first son of a first son of a first son of a ... second son.  :rolleyes:
