My X-Ring

Well, it's December 3rd, to the Catholic Church the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, who just happens to be the crazy dead bloke they named my school after. Today all the senior-year students received their school rings - the X-Ring. It's a very simple ring, a black X on gold (or silver, depending on your preference), and today, I was awarded mine.

I won't go into the specifics, but I just wanted you all, as my friends, to know. And if there's any other Xaverians out there...well, here's one more.

Hey, why the hell are you wearing a tie? Is hanging out with conservatives making you dress conservatively? It appears IronDuke is having a bad influence on you! The Duke is a Liberal, not a Conservative! And I just got back from the chapel, where we get the rings. I was wearing academic robes and all that...
 
1. I didn't say that IronDuke was a Conservative (with a capital C). I said he was a conservative (small c).

2. IronDuke may be a Liberal (capital L), but if you think he's a liberal (small l) then you yourself must stand politically so far to the right that you've entirely lost use of the left side of your body! 3. Ties are the tools of the establishment. Granted, there are times when wearing one is appropriate. But the minute it is no longer necessary to wear one, you should remove it. They kill original thought by cutting off the flow of blood to the brain. The represent the noose that THE MAN will use to terminate your existence should you question THE PLAN.

Tie: incorrect.
Tinfoil hat: correct.

If you look carefully you'll see that the upper button of my shirt is undone and my tie is loose.

So did you have some sort of Satanic/Pagan festival? or was yours simply given to you devoid of tradition and meaning? EXPLAIN YOURSELF MAN!
