Alan White is a funny one because, like Nicko, he joined a few albums later. Although he also didn't play on most of the band's most known and loved albums. So despite being one of the most longstanding members of the band (afaik he never left since joining either), to many casual Yes fans who remember them for having Bill Bruford, he's still "the new guy". I wonder if Steve paid much attention to the post-Bruford Yes.
