Well notice how I also voted for King Nothing in the poll.

The only songs I consider from the Load round of songs to be better than Puppets are Outlaw Torn, Hero of the Day and No Leaf Clover, (that said it's still not saying too much for Puppets)

I can see a case for Puppets being in the top 10 for Metallica's BEST songs, but I personally like it much less than that and hence voting for it.

Holy hell is Devil's Dance underrated or what. It's a MILES better song than Fuel which only has 1 vote.

It's a pretty good song, don't get me wrong. I didn't vote for it either. But the treatment of Devil's Dance is just unfair.

I don't think it is. There are worse Metallica songs than 'Devil's Dance' but there's no need for it to continue in the survivor.
