Metal week on Maidenfans?

I understand that we used to have metal weeks here on Maidenfans, and as far as it seems this tradition had long ago disappeared of this board, which, I think, is quite a shame.

Anybody in favor of giving life to this old fashion? :)
 
Should I run it on this board or General Discussion? I mean, of course this is Metalfans board, but the General Discussion board is much more active. If we want this to gain good momentum, we must use a broad medium, and General Discussion is more user-packed than this board. What do you, mod team?
 
Are you talking of continuing the different 'band a week' deal we did?  If so, I would personally prefer to keep them all in the same forum... just my opinion.

Oh Yes. I was looking forward to the Kreator week.

This CoB week has gone on for too long now.
 
Blind Guardian is first though - and I know bugger all of them.
 
you start a voting thread with three bands, people vote, the one with more votes goes first and so on. OR you could just pick a band and start it. I'm still working on info on the symphonic thread that was horribly neglected and I couldn't do squat about it because I was too busy with work.
 
And you should do it today. I used to start those band of the week threads on Mondays.

And be sure you pick an awesome band.

And make sure your first post has some awesome stuff.

In other words, don't fuck around. Or else Onhell will kill your thread. He needs practice anyway, he's been slipping.

So don't fuck it up, or else. :P
