Both releases support War Child, with £1 from every copy sold going to their work with children affected by conflict.

The Manic Street Preachers were great at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust. Some deep cuts, a couple of covers, some oldies that have not been played for quite a while… A fantastic night raising money for a great cause!

The price of the special event T-shirt was £25, with 90% of the money going to the charity. It made me wonder of the massive cut some bands get when selling mass-produced T-shirts for £40!

Can’t wait to hear what comes next from the band. Some sort of anniversary celebration being 40 years since they formed in Blackwood?
