Iron Maiden's music is TIMELESS that's the magic! An album like Somewhere In Time could have been released in 2023 and it would still sound fresh and not at all out of time, Senjutsu could have been the following album next to Seventh Son and it would still do the magic.
I personally feel there are many reasons that make a band/artist truly timeless, most possibly they have a signature sound, that is, once dialed in, they are good and going (like AC/DC) or there are bands that have released some really influential records back in their heyday but don't have to worry about present to do something exceptional, people will anyway que-up to see them perform live and get their records (like Metallica and many others) but Maiden has remained intact with their sound with making genuing experimentation without actually chasing some trend. I must say, something even evident in their latest album.
As someone said before, Benjamin Breeg would be the last thing you would blast at a party (actually I will!) or you may not sing Rime Of The Ancient Mariner to your beloved (maybe you're not that cool! ), they are not just your 'typical plug-in and play rock band', they actually have songs covering variety of themes, songwriting that takes you places, something you ponder your thoughts upon. Something fans across generation could feel relevant and relate to.
Plus lets not forget Eddie! One of the most recognizable band mascot. Totally boosts up the merch department.
