Maiden Tour 2014 (SPOILER TAGS REQUIRED WITHIN)

I might be able to go, is just an hours flight or so...But don't know when I can buy festival tickets...so I hope they don't sell out too fast.

I am definitely coming to Europe next summer, but not until the second half of July.
Our intinerary isn't set yet; we're looking to arrive in Western Europe somewhere around July 20 and slowly work our way east to Greece. But it looks like Maiden will be done before we arrive.
Which sucks, because it looks like this get-together will be massive.

I'm not going there for work (I guess that's what you hinted at) - I was committed to another project instead - but a Holland meetup sounds cool and I'll check my calendar!
 
Why are there only festivals anyway? Do they announce single concerts later or do they only plan on headlining festivals?

It's looking like it'll be mostly festivals, and I'm sure those will get announced first due to pressure from festival promoters. I'd expect the "off-date" gigs to be announced later.
