Maiden Tour 2014 (SPOILER TAGS REQUIRED WITHIN)

Well we know that Maiden are playing Saturday 5th of July at Knebworth if you want to run the day ticket gauntlet.

By the way, Moon Child/Mods could you keep a list of the dates in the original post please?

Saturday is totally do-able. I'm just waiting on holiday confirmation for the Friday/Saturday, which I took a punt on when putting in my whole year's worth (of holidays) the other week. Sunday might have been a problem if I didn't get the Monday. But, Saturday...

That's cool. Just a word of warning though: the availability of day tickets is dependent on how well the weekend tickets sell, so if the capacity is almost full in March then they probably won't sell day tickets. In 2011 Sonisphere had a silly ballot system so people who applied for day tickets that wanted to see Metallica might have seen Biffy Clyro instead.

I haven't really looked at the detail, remind me. It's over three days (4-6th?), is that right? A weekend ticket is the whole thing I'm guessing? Do you just mean (for talking sake, let's call it a capacity of 100,000) that if they sell 100,000 weekend tickets, then that'll be it; no more tickets?

That's how I understand it. I think the capacity of Sonisphere was 60,000 in 2010 but was increased in 2010 and some people have speculated that it might be increased to as much as 80,000. I doubt it will sell out fast (it's not T in the Park or Glastonbury) but we won't know about day tickets until March. Download has a capacity of 100,000 and there were loads of people only there for one day on Saturday.

Death? How? Since when is Chuck Schuldiner resurrected from the dead?
I'm not sure how that works out to be honest.

It's July 4th to 6th, a weekend ticket will allow you to camp from Thursday to Monday. I was going to hold out for day tickets, but then I'd have to stay in a hotel at least one night, so it would end up costing me about £200 just to spend a day there. So I got the weekend ticket. ;)

Well the weekend tickets are pretty expensive so perhaps that'll deter some people from going and open up room for day tickets.

I hope this system will not be applied to Hellfest. It seems that weekend tickets and day tisckets are to be sold from tomorrow on.

I think the Setlist will be like this (il post it in spoilers just incase)
1. Moonchild
2. Prowler
3. The Prisoner
4. 2 Minutes to Midnight
5. Children of the Damned/Remember Tomorrow
6. The Trooper
7. The Number Of The Beast
8. Powerslave
9. Run To The Hills
10. Waster Years
11. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
12. Heaven Can Wait
13. Fear Of The Dark
14. Iron Maiden

15. Aces High
16. The Evil That Men Do
17. Hallowed Be Thy Name

As for the festival tickets, judging by the prices and the current economic climate especially in UK. Dont expect the festival to sell out, even though its Iron Maiden and Metallica i just dont see it selling out until the day of the festival. Im not a 100% sure but even the Big Four sonisphere didnt sell out until the day of festival.

I can do that if someone else hasn't done it yet. You mean in the very first post, right?
