You folks any idea how to deal with Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son possibly winning this turn right now? That case would lead us logically to a finale between Powerslave and Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son tomorrow - but we had this constellation already competing in round #2. So should we do it simply again, to have a finale? Or what ideas do you have? :S

SSOASS was predictable to be the winner. I'd say lets make polls to determine the best song in each album. Then let the best songs compete with each other. I'd say it will be more interesting to see the tracks SSOASS vs ROAM poll, or who knows we might see a totally surprise finale...(Powerslave vs The Evil That Men Do for example:))

AMOLAD. Not a single weak song, and a top 2 album for me. SSOASS has The Prophecy which drags it down. The album is overall brilliant though.

Great idea. I'll set the finale for us later and then pass the organization of a song competition to you. Though it was great fun to manage this over the past three weeks. Still we haven't got a winner - it might as well be Powerslave, we'll see later on, but one of the really interesting conclusions to be drawn from this competition IMHO is that A Matter Of Life And Death made it that far and got brought up to their top 3 albums.

People of goodwill, let's unite and vote for POWERSLAVE.
United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall!
Brothers everywhere
Raise your hands into the air
Let's all vote for Powerslav'

Lets kick some ass, and show to those infidels of Seventh Order, who is the Messiah supreme, true Album leader. :ninja:

I was thinking about PS and SSOASS only but you gave me an idea! :) All right, I will think on it and come up with a thread probably sometime next week.

AMOLAD although it’s also a bit overrated. Way better album experience than SSOASS. Like seriously Seventh Son just sounds unfinished as an album. They tried to do a big concept and yet it’s got the shortest runtime since TNOTB.

First of all, let me congratulate the forum on selecting the correct final 3 albums. They are the cream of the crop, all excellent overall.

That said, as much as I enjoy AMOLAD, it can’t withstand the near-perfect assault of Seventh Son, which is Maiden’s finest album.
