Maiden songs you find rather boring

Dick Brucinson

The TRUE Dick Brucinson
Are there any Maiden songs you'd consider boring, and if so, which are these?

I personally think The Trooper is utterly boring, and not only because it's overplayed.
Lost In A Lost World also does not impress me at all and would be a very boring song - if there wasn't the slow outro (which by itself is one of my personal highlights from Senjutsu).

Band's title track Iron Maiden does absolutely nothing (positive) for me. Not a particularly memorable composition, repetitive lyrics, and you can't escape IT live.

The reunion albums have a fair share of plodding and meandering songs, but I haven't listened to BNW, TFF or BoS in a while so I can't single out any track off the top.

I know it's beloved on the forum, but my choice is The Parchment.

It's not a bad song, it has great moments. In fact, there are quite a few songs that I actually dislike or which I like less than The Parchment. Despite that it's this song that is boring me.

When I was listening to Senjutsu for the very first time, getting towards the end of this song was the very first time I ever had the feeling of "shouldn't this be over by now? When is it ending?" when listening to Maiden. It keeps the same tempo for almost the entire song. The double-time section at the end of the song should've happened literal minutes prior.

People wanted this one to be played live, but it would completely killed the mood in my opinion. Hell, mainstream fans are bored during the quiet sections in Rime and SSOASS (particularly the latter). The Parchment would fail miserably live, so I'm glad they chose not to play it.

Forget all the VXI worship, this is the worst thing you've ever posted.

One thing I actually love about it is the way the tempo slightly increases later in the song as the tension and energy build. Compare the way the main heavy riff is played at the beginning and when it comes back in after Dave's solo, it's noticeably quicker the second time around.
