I know I will get alot of flaming from all you new fans out there, but you should face it. Maiden are great musicians, but definitely NOT the best ever.
I saw Bruce live two years ago with Chris Dale on bass, and he is technically alot better than Steve. Don't get me wrong, everyone out there knows that I'm obsessed with Steve's style, but it is technically not the hardest and most complex way.
You guys should start enjoying other bands and musicians, and not think of Maiden as gods, they're just human! Great songwriters, really good musicians, but not the BSET EVER & ALL UTHAZ SUXXORZ!!!!!11111
think about it and enjoy the Bruce solo stuff and realize that he's surrounded by great musicians there, not only when he's in Maiden.
