Maiden really buried the lead — DoD is as good as any post-reunion Maiden album

I feel that way towards Brave New World since it was my introduction to Maiden and I have a soft spot for that era of the band.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone has told you this naranja, but I love your pfp.
Haha thanks

DOD is just full of interesting songs and ideas and has a bunch of classics on it.

IMO DoD is the best reunion album!
Having said that—and moving slightly away from the subject of the thread—I never liked A Matter of Life and Death as much. At least DoD doesn't include cringe moments like "Different World," the never-ending choruses, and the obvious edits in the takes of "FTGGOG," "The Pilgrim," and so on... (OK, maybe "No More Lies" is laughable, but that's about it. I mean wasn't it Nick that did put that album on the top of his list?

I agree, DOD is my favourite reunion album.

As a side note, what's interesting is that if I'm not mistaken, it's their most collaborative one, at least in terms of songs with 3 credits.

It has 6 of those, the highest by far.
