I figure anywhere near a tour forget it, but will Maiden play an event (say a wedding reception) for mad cash? I heard that Jethro Tull & other bands have done that in the past.

How freaking amazing would it be to have Maiden (or even just one or two members) play a wedding reception, special anniversary, etc?

I always wondered what it might be like to enter my own wedding reception with my new bride to "The Trooper" - only to realize that it wasn't a recording. Goosebumps.

They did play at a wedding reception in Poland, back in August 1984. I don't think they've ever done anything like this since, though.

Anyway, this is yet again one of those pointless 'what if' threads...  ::)

What if he didn't do it, but it was the act of some bored Alpha-Draconian visiting Earth and feeling mischievous?

Hmmm.... I think I see where this thread is heading.  :innocent:

What if the real Paul McCartney hadn't died in a car crash in 1965, and that impostor hadn't gone on to unleash his horrible "band" Wings upon an innocent world?

What if Einstein had made enough money at the patent office that he decided never to leave that job?

What if there had been a Democrat governor in Florida in 2000?

If upon being given a quiz you become quizzical, what happens when you take a test?

Let's start a collection right now to get Iron Maiden to play at Maverick's next New Year's Eve party.

Am I invited? Then I'd put up a few Euros or whatever you'd like, but only if I'm invited. :P
