I like an April Fool's joke as much as the next guy.  Along those same lines, as a native of Topeka, Kansas, I am particularly amused by Google's prank home page today.  http://www.google.com  (iGoogle or mobile users, be sure to switch to Google's "Classic Home" page.)
 
Google didn't do anything for Google.ca. However, following LeVar Burton on Twitter, and loling when he accidentally posted his legit cell number yesterday, I was amused by www.memory-alpha.org's prank.

The attached image shows what Google did for the U.S.  A bit of history:  Google is looking for cities to "beta" its universal broadband concept, and in a shameless effort to give its application a boost, the city of Topeka, Kansas -- where I lived for ages 3 through 18 -- "officially" changed its name to Google, Kansas for one month.  Google, Inc.'s prank page was a nod to that effort.
