Maiden Heaven (new tribute album)

Would be cool to hear that DT track.  To Tame a Land isn't exactly your stereotypical cover song since it's not very well known.

That is beyond cool  :D Just hope LaBrie has a good day when recording it. Have seen a couple of YouTube vids of DT performing Hallowed, and he really struggles.
Any other band names leaked? I guess Iced Earth wouldn't hesitate if they were asked.

How about asking Metallica to do a proper version of "Run To The Hills"?
 
Iced Earth doing Where Eagles There might be interesting! The guitars and the vocals could be done well, I suppose. :)

If Iced Earth did not record a new one, Kerrang could just pull "Hallowed Be Thy Name" or "Number of the Beast" off Tribute to the Gods.

But I think they would be best on something faster... say "Prowler" or "Purgatory".  Now THAT would be a cool cover!

I was, for about 5 minutes. But I couldn't come up with any ideas that would not come out crap/be cliche/be relevant to the scope of the album.
