Anyone have pics of the sticker, membership card and the enamal club badge? and i live in the US how long does it take to get the mag and the goodies. i plan on buying a 2 shirts and the sticker sheet. along with the membership.

what you guys think??  is it worth it?

I haven't taken the plunge

1. Because I have the internet and have access to plenty of Maiden info as it is.

and

2. Because it, so far, hasn't cost me anything to be a fan, so why pay now?

That said, the idea of exclusive pre-sales on tickets and exclusive shirts does make me think twice about it occasionally.

I just joined a few days ago, after I saw them in new jersey.  Great show, and the lure of pre-sale tickets was just too great.

i saw them in jersey  too first maidne show. i want the presale alot

I joined the online club solely for the presales.  I have had some amazing views as a result.  Not a full member, not sure I care about the mag or the membership card.  Online club also gets you access to exclusive features on the official website that aren't otherwise available, such as a video library (though they probably are all on YouTube anyway), tour diaries, etc.

Yeah, I thought of joining as well, but money is tight these days (after retirement from the military)  Been a Maiden fan since 82, bought every album, tape, cd, video, dvd, figure, poster, shirt...etc... Seen them more times than I can count. So they've gotten money from me since I was in High School (class of 84)  I was upset when they turned the website to a pay membership board, when fans like me have been paying their way for so many years.

I guess, I'm just saying that I've paid my due, and love Maiden with all my heart and soul, but they're not the only band out there, and I can't afford much more these days.

Still happy that they're around, and am Excited as all get out for the new album next month.  As excited as I've been for every new release they've ever put out.

Up The Irons!!!

I will join when I get a new job. Right now, I don't know where money will be coming from for regular expenses (food, rent, cable/internet, etc), and I don't think I can throw money at a fanclub membership, as much as I love Iron Maiden.

I DID put aside spending money for the album next month, so that won't be an issue. And I'm trying my best to get a job. Damn economy, though...it's hard to find work.

Excellent mags (great colour photos). There are cool other things such as First to the Barrier and first possibilities to fly with Bruce air.

I care more about content (what goes on, how do they create a new album, interviews, trivia etc.) than into the outside (merchandise etc.), so I don't care about merchandise discount or earlier sales, that's not why I became a member.

To sum it up, it's worth to become a member but my only complaint is that I had hoped for more information around this new release. Looks like we won't get any earlier info than anyone else. That's not what I expect from a fan club. My personal 2 cents. Maybe the fan club will prove me wrong and a new mag will come within reasonable time to deal with that.

edit: Another positive thing: the forum is huge, but if you (want to spend time to) track down posts of certain members you always get interesting opinions and discussion.
