Maiden are helping to pull the UK into economic recovery

They've just failed to notice that the man with the biggest income in the band now lives in the Bahamas and probably pays very few taxes in England... ;)
Anyway, great find Foro and thanks for sharing.

I found the bit about tracking file shares and targeting those markets very interesting.
Rod's a sharp man.

Steve may keep his personal money abroad but Maiden's UK income (at least) goes through UK registered companies and they will be paying UK corporation tax on their profits. Obviously they will have set it all up in the most tax-efficient way possible, and to be honest why shouldn't they? The pre-tax expenditure of these companies will also include a lot of other people's wages:).

I read this friday when it was published, at first i was confused as to how this as worked as to my knowledge (correct me if im wrong) do any of Maiden actually live in UK long enough to pay tax? But the Iron Maiden LLP is a London Stock Exchange trading company, meaning that the Iron Maiden company does pay tax and im guessing by the amount Maiden have earnt over this Maiden England tour they must of paid a lot of Tax. So long term, its very exciting for the UK economy as Maiden will only earn more money as time goes on, as they seem to be getting more and more of a following, thus meaning their back catalog will be bought, more tickets will be bought and more merchandise. I think the most impressive thing about this, is that a (lets call Maiden this in this context) a music company which has had no mainstream media attention, only air play on rock stations and keep themselves to themselves have helped the UK economy more than the Tory party have.

Anyone really desperate to know how much tax Maiden pay could just go to Companies House and order a copy of their last set of accounts. It would cost you a quid, though:).
