Magazine scans about 'Fear Of The Dark'.

Here are more rare hi-res scans I found on the net of that excellent Eddie bat done by Mark Wilkinson.

I was searching in the net again to find some old interviews about the FOTD album in which the band said something about its musical directions (because it's curious), about the writing and other things, and it's cool when you find such stuff, especially form the past. To know the band's opinion. One of these days I'll search for some more from the different eras for something interesting.

In this one (from 1992), Steve talks about every song, the solo careers of band members (curious!), Rod wanted to call the album ''Fear'' (wow) - and even said (Steve) that the band almost ''lost'' their identity with SSOASS album ? This is more true for FOTD.

Be Quick - they wanted an in-your-face song.
From Here - probably the most straightforward song he's written, good for a single.
Afraid - big song for the band and one of his best songs he's written in a while.
Fear Is The Key - he thinks it's a strong song, almost a Zeppelin feel?.
Childhood's End - he really likes the different chorus.
Wasting Love - he's proud it's heavy, closest to a ballad.
Fugitive - he likes the instrumental bit.
Chains - could be a possible single!
Apparition - Zeppelin feel. Janick is a great songwriter, he knew it back then.
Judas Be My Guide - excellent solo and loads of harmonies.
Weekend Warrior - it reminds him of the Who.
title track - very strong closer.

I have a question - I think someone in the forum mentioned (not so long ago) that Steve didn't like 2 songs from the album (Apparition and Chains, iirc), but here he says the latter could be a potential single? Can anyone remember?
