Live After Death versus Flight 666

Live after Death blows it away IMO that album is one of the all time greatest live albums ever recorded. The sound is crisp and gets better the louder it is played.

Live after Death. No comparison really. LAD, SIT and SSOASS were the high points of Maiden's career IMO.

Flight 666 because Bruce's vocal performance is much better. Especially on Aces High. And it has my most favorite live version of HBTN.

Fiight 666 covers all those highlights, LAD doesn't...just saying ;)

I think you misunderstand me. The whole World Slavery Tour, followed up by SIT then SSOASS were in my opinion, Maiden's golden years. I think with SIT & SSOASS, I prefer the studio versions to the live versions that Flight 666 gave us. Hope that makes sense  :S Cheers.

On the other hand, F666 feels much more like a true representation of the live Maiden sound than LAD.

Nowadays, sure ... but as someone who saw Maiden in the 80s, I can tell you they did sound like LAD back then.
