I probably will, main reason is the bad quality cover print of the regular LAD vinyl. I hope they improved the printing this time without cutting lots of the edges off.

I have a great US 1985 copy that I’m happy with. I’ll be excited to buy one of these 40th editions when they decide to add actual additional content that the fans don’t already own. Come on, an extra disc of songs from the WST that weren’t on LAD or bonus Hammersmith recordings isn’t that hard.

I asked for it for Xmas. It’s a cheap easy gift you can get at Walmart and I’d never get it on my own.

I think I'll go for it, especially since the regular LAD vinyl had some issues with the cover print quality. I'm really hoping they’ve made improvements this time without compromising on the edges.

The cropping issue was a major gripe on the 2014 black vinyl. The 40th-anniversary packaging seems to have respected the original Derek Riggs dimensions better, giving back that "breathing room" on the edges of the cemetery.

I do sometimes wish that Maiden were more like Jethro Tull. Their boxsets are incredible.
