Linkin Park and Maiden

At first I ignored this  connection but now it doesn't seem like a coincidance. LP's last album was called "Minutes to Midnight", and thier upcoming album is called "Thousand Suns". I'm not sure if they are copying maiden or not. Any thoughts?

Seems like a total coincidence.

Now... when they name their next album "The Man Who Would Be King bringing The Talisman is Coming Home to the Isle of Avalon from El Dorado Where the Wild Wind Blows to meet The Starblind Alchemist and the Mothers of Mercy on the way to The Final Frontier"... then maybe we could consider something fishy going on

"Minutes to Midnight" and "Thousand Suns" both refer to Maiden songs about the atomic bomb, don't they? The guys of Linkin Park seem obsessed by the Apocalypse...

^ yea I noticed that too. I guess I'll have to wait for the next LP album to find out  if they are ripping off maiden.

I wouldn't say "ripping off", maybe they respect and admire Maiden, and it's a simple tribute to the band.
