My mother, who is a teacher, works in a school dedicated to children with cerebral palsy for this year. One of her students (7th grade) sadly passed away today. I heard he led a really unfortunate life apart from his disease. His father left his mother, took the child's brother away from her by winning custody, he never could see his brother again. Then her mother was a target of harsh criticism and gossip from the locals because she took her hijab off after the marriage broke down, kid found out about it and was depressed. R.I.P.
We often don't realize just how fortunate we are to be in the situation we are. It shouldn't take a kid's misfortunes to see that.
