Not a shock to me, it should have been announced ages ago. Quite sad, but it's looking more and more like Sonisphere and Download can't co-exist.

There's not room in the market for two major 3-day Rock festivals in the UK. I've been saying that for a few years now. If Sonisphere only runs every two years and has a great line-up every time then I'l be happy with that.
