Both of the above posts are unfortunate. I hope you both get rest and feel better!

I'm parked in my recliner watching Sliders and drinking coffee.

Aww, I missed a 50 Shades discussion! And now I want to know what the deleted posts were. Too much suspense, too much hype

@Brigantium-- I think they were mostly drunken posts with little substance ;). Also, on 50 shades...maybe I'll read them then the discussion can continue!

@Yax-- yeah. I used to be the DLR guy, but the more I listened, the more I realized that my top 10 favs were Hagar. And I just like Sammy's solo stuff (and Waboritas) a lot. One day I'm going to his birthday bast in Cabo!

There you go. Funny, 'cause I've been on a Van Halen kick lately. Tho I prefer Hagar.
Thanks!

As a singer, Hagar is better, and I like his side projects so much more than DLR's. 5150 is also in my top 3 VH albums. As a whole though, I think the DLR was more consistent; when Van Hagar got bad, it was pretty terrible. Balance is my least Van Halen album, by far (including 3).

Love both eras though.

I haven't listened to Balance in its entirety (I only own 5150 and OU182 so far), but Can't Stop Loving Me is awesome. Big Fat Money is pretty decent as well and The Seventh Seal is pretty damn cool too.

For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is supposed to be cool too, but haven't heard that record either.

Also. Chickenfoots two records slay.

I love For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge! That and 5150 are my two favs. Also a big fan of Chickenfoot. Ever listened to Hagar's early stuff? I like those Montrose albums he sings on.

The early Montrose albums rule. Both Chickenfoot albums are awesome as well. FUCK is a good back to roots album with some of their best songs.

I love Seventh Seal off Balance, a couple other good songs too but the rest is a disappointment.

@Albie, that is fookin' awesome!!!

@Mosh, you know, I haven't listened to much of Balance, I'll have to check that out.

Not sure if that t-shirt is commercially available, but I'm sure anyone can make one themselves. ;)
