Hm.... smooth and cool...  That's a toughy.  Tho, I could see Downey, Jr doing that role as well!  Or, maybe Brad Pitt...

That's the role for Woody Harrelson. He would make a terrible Murdoch. Matthew McConaughey would be good for that role too. Now who's going to be Hannibal?

one site had Bruce Willis listed as Hannibal.  And I must have been mixed up, cause that one said Ice Cube for BA.

I don't think I want to see Bruce Willis as Hannibal; or Ice Cube for BA. I just threw out Samuel L. Jackson to my friend as BA and he said that sucks. I think he'd be alright for it.

Just watched England destroy France at Twickenham and man do I need to fly over and see a game there( or maiden) just a HUGE stadium!!! Having a free preview of Setanta sports is killing me I cant wait to play my first game of the season next Tues!!!!

Sam would have the right attitude, but i think he needs to be a little more 'bad ass' ... maybe Lawrence Fishburn as BA and Liam Nelson as Hannibal? Dunno if Liam has the silly streak in him to pull off Hannibal.

NOt a bad idea.

How bout this:  Clint as Hannibal, Arnold Schwartznegger (sp?) as BA, Chuck Norris as Murdock, and George Clooney as Face.

ok, some of that is a little crazy...

Maybe Edward Norton as Murdoch?

...and LC, I went to middle school with one of Abe's direct descendants, Justin Lincoln. He looked just like him. I think he should play the role even if he can't act.

Yeah, you know how adolescent kids are though. The guy was kind of a tool and got picked on a lot. That didn't stop us from unanimously voting him in as class president. Well duh!

Come on, though.  Liam Neeson as Honest Abe?  Can you think of anyone better?

He's a great actor and would likely do well as Lincoln ... but he's not American. And I can't believe they couldn't find an American to do it. Even if you have to use an unknown actor, it should be an American.

Seriously. Aside from possibly George Washington, there is no historical figure who embodies America more than Lincoln. This is as bad as if you hired a Spaniard to play Winston Churchill.

Is it really that important to find an American to play Lincoln?  If someone had a Spaniard to play Churchill, as long as they could make it credible, I think that's what counts.  The history of Abraham Lincoln isn't just an American history; Lincoln had ramifications felt the world over, and I would suggest that he was one of the most important people of the latter half of the 1800s.  (Lincoln, Queen V., and von Bismarck).
