Bollocks!
Jasper Carrot, an English stand up, had a funny story about Bollocks. He stayed in the States for a while in the early 80's and came across this car owned by an ex-pat in California. His number plate simply read Bollocks, apparently. So, Carrot burst out in laughter at it. The bemused American woman that was with him asked what was so funny about the word "Bollocks" and what does it mean. "It's the English word for Zit", he replied.

Then she came over to Blighty, walked into a chemist and pointed at her spot on her face and said:

"Got anything for these Bollocks here?"

A post.... while I read The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

So, I'm wondering, if anyone has an opinion, I am contemplating reading this book to my daughters (9 & 12), tho it may be a bit above their heads.  2nd choice is the Belgariad--which may be better, but doesn't make me laugh as much.

I haven't read the Hitchhiker's Guide but I have a feeling you may be right. I think the Belgariad maybe a little over their heads as well though.
