Day one of Micro Economics.  Yay.  An online course, never have I done one of those before.  But, its just reading and chatting on line-- hell, its clear I can spam some shit.

I want to give a big 'thank you' to whomever launched the satellites that allowed for cable and digital satellite!!  I can remember the days when the DNC (or the state of the union) came on and you only had 3 channels to watch, all showing the same thing.  Now, I can find something mind numbing to watch instead!

I still don't get it.  B)

I think, maybe, you have to be Canadian to get it... ;)

school's already started ?? all the good luck to you mate !!

and : Canadians are very cool ! exactly as Helvetians, Belgians and Australians
-maybe not by luck that 3 out of 4 mentioned states are multi-linguistic /ethnic states

the most funny sub-ethnic group of these countries are the Quebequois
when I hear them speaking -their *mother language*  :D- it's IMPOSSIBLE not to have a HUGE smile -no matter what they say !!
the English Canadians are quite different -much more close to Anglo-Saxon coulture
more universal and less isolated

the second funniest place belongs to the French Swisses  :D

Yep, school kicked off on Monday.  I was looking forward to 2 courses, but only found one that I can take right now.  But it gives me time to study for my GMAT, which I need for grad school.

I haven't seen Deano lately, wondering what he is taking for courses this fall-- Deano!!  Where are you?

Did anyone watch the DNC's last night?  I sure did.
You did, eh? Are you really sure? I mean REALLY? How do you know that it is for real? How do you define real? Let me ask you, how can you know that it really happened?

You can't.

I'm going to shut up now.  :P

Edit: By DNC, you mean the Democrats National Convention?

I haven't watched all the way through each evening, but I have watched bits of it live- and picked up some bits on The Daily Show and Colbert.

Obama?  Obama!

PS, did you see Sarah Palin, the VP pick for McCain?  That's a VPILF.  However, it's also scary...if McCain dies in office, the president is someone who has been governor of Alaska for 1 year.

Yeah, I guess since Biden was Obama's response to 'lack of experience', she was McCain's answer to 'to old to hold office'.

Like you say, hot enough to look at, but maybe not so ready to be president when if McCain dies of old age in office.

and as Democrates had a black and a woman fighting for the chrism, maybe Sarah Palin is McCain's answer to... Hilary!
......now hwat about that ?

Yeah, maybe that also.  I had thought Condi Rice would work well for that, but she is too much "thats not change, that's more of the same".

I still have a hard time believing that the Hilary supporters would really vote for McCain over Obama, just cause Hil-dog didn't get the nomination.

Sarah Palin?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

McCain has lost his fucking mind.
And he just threw away the election for his party.

McCain was already guaranteed to get toasted by Obama in the debates.
Now if there's a VP debate, Palin will get thrashed and brutalized by Biden.

I take it you didn't get a ticket to Mile High Field, SMX?

And yeah.  The only way Sarah Palin will win debates:

Biden: It's obvious that we need, as a country, to change our course away from Bush's disastrous policies.  Eight is enough.
Palin: I'd like to respond to the Senator's point by undoing the top button of my dangerously seethrough shirt.

meanwhile that story about Russia -Georgia, gives some credits to Republicans
-the road till November will be a long and winding one

this is the problem with information ; it is distributed differently around the world

here in Balkans news tell us what a big problem is for Democrates this invasion to Georgia
and maybe they'll even loose elections because of it

Don't believe it.  It's just fear mongering, or hope.  It hasn't affected the campaigns in the slightest, and Obama is polling very strong right now.  The floodgates are about to open, and I don't mean in New Orleans, either.  I'll explain why in the politics thread.
