You know, checking the stats of the members of this forum, by far most of them are from the U.S. That poll could easily be swayed in our favor.... but alas! Just like voting, it appears that most of the Americans here, do not visit the forum with any regularity.

Fahrenheit was invented by a German in 1724. Celcius was invented by a Swede in 1742.

So Fahrenheit is older, therefore having a deeper tradition, and from a country suitable for Helloween or Blind Guardian fans.

Celcius is a mere imitation, suitable for fans of Ace Of Base.
 
Ah, so that's why the US went to the moon tracking temperature in Celcius, then.  Face it - you're all fat and lazy.
 
I never said anything about the US using Celcius for anything. Sure, some Americans do make that mistake. I presume such people are just more illogical Ace Of Base fans. I listen to Helloween, and I'm sticking with Fahrenheit.
 
Yeah, I'd go with that!  And comparing Ace of Base to Celcius... yep!
