The sooner the technology for solid state hard drives is in wider use, the better. Hard drives won't break as easily and they will be quicker.

And it's coming.

The problem with SSD's, apparently, is that the cells that hold data are only designed to be written to so many times. After that they just die. So, if they can sort this little issue out, we will all have one. :D
